948: Autumn is here in all her glory. How do we experience the season of Autumn?
Day 948: Thursday, October 20, 2022
Autumn is here in all her glory.
How do we experience the season of Autumn.

Let's think about our next Celebration on Sunday, October 23rd, 2022
This will be the last time we meet at 4:45pm.
Starting in November we'll begin an hour earlier at 3:45pm

(Don't fall Steve!)
Our Celebrants on Sunday are Steve Lyman and Pat O'Connor
Here's a peek into their theme:
Autumn is here in all her glory.
How do we experience the season of Autumn.
We frequently refer to this season as “Fall.”
There is falling physically and there is falling emotionally.
There is falling soft and there is falling hard.
Sometimes falls leave us in a state of feeling out of control, free falling. This can sometimes have a sense of surrender or letting go. Sometimes we fall in or out of love. Let us explore this phenomena of Falling.
Please bring your experiences of falling to share at our homily.

The woods is shining this morning.
Red, gold and green, the leaves
lie on the ground, or fall,
or hang full of light in the air still.
Perfect in its rise and in its fall, it takes
the place it has been coming to forever.
It has not hastened here, or lagged.
See how surely it has sought itself,
its roots passing lordly through the earth.
See how without confusion it is
all that it is, and how flawless
its grace is. Running or walking, the way
is the same. Be still. Be still.
“He moves your bones, and the way is clear.”
