779 Word from St.Patricks -- looks hopeful. May the 4th be with us.

Day 779: Wednesday, May 4, 2022

Hello Emmaus, I hope this email finds you well.

I am so happy to tell you we are getting ready to welcome back groups to St Patrick's! Since we have been in this unique situation, St Patrick's is taking this opportunity to start fresh with those who use our facilities.

We have a new Letter of Agreement that is still in process. One thing you may be able to work on while we get our agreement finalized is obtaining liability insurance and have St Patrick's listed as an additional party. Also please make sure 'host liquor liability' is included in your insurance if you all still plan to have alcohol beverages at your dinners.

Thank you for everything and let me know if you have any questions. Take good care!

Questions:

- How much liability insurance (general liability?) would you like us to carry?

- Do you have a preferred insurance company or broker to work with?

we always have wine as part of our liturgies and also for our potlucks which follow each liturgy on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. We'll make sure to add 'host liquor liability' to our general liability insurance. Another question: We had discussed helping to pay for an upgrade to the WiFi in the hall. we now have several people who are distant from Sonoma county and who enjoy celebrating with us over zoom. We’d like to involve them as much as possible in the zoom and thus we need good internet access. If WiFi is too difficult we could discuss Ethernet too. I think Dan Lambert of our community may have had several discussions about the WiFi solution and I’ll check with him. Many thanks and blessings David Carlson for the Emmaus Community
