2. Sam Jones Supper Delivery: This Wednesday the 26th: Enchilada Casserole! From Denise Dixon:

Our next meal is a week from this Weds 1/26. Note this is not our usual date (which would have been this Weds). I propose we again do the enchilada casserole. At least for me, it is the easiest and most versatile. As usual need salad and dessert along with main course. Let me know how you can help. I look forward to see you on the 26th.

3. Blankets for Children from Marcia Dahlen:

We have found all the helpers we need to make fleece blankets for children who are living with their families at the Family Service Center in Santa Rosa operated by Catholic Charities.

Background: There are 22 children between the ages of 2-10 living at the Center with their families. They are sheltered while working on finding permanent housing and/or jobs. Staff at Center works with these families for weeks or months to that end. The Center is presently in lockdown so blankets will have to be stored until delivered. JoAnn Fabrics had tie blankets kits on sale (40% off!) so I bought 25. All have been paid for through the generosity of the Emmaus Community. If you would like more information, call or email Marcie Dahlen 303-330-2804, marciedahlen@me.com.

4. From Victoria MacDonald: The Faith Communities Committee of the Federation of Christian Ministries invites us to join us on a journey to learn more about small faith communities all over the country

The Federation of Christian Ministries Faith Communities Committee invites FCM members (Emmaus) to join us on a journey to learn more about small faith communities by attending the 2022 Small Faith Communities Zoom Networking Sessions beginning the first Tuesday in February and ending in June. This series of five zoom sessions, topics of which are listed below, will help us understand what small faith communities are, how impactful they can be, and how we can start one in our own area. Please join your fellow FCM members to discuss and share your thoughts, experiences, desires, and challenges. Everyone can … and should, join us. Make FCM the community builder it is intended to be!

Resource I: We encourage you to begin reading the book The Art of Community: Seven Principles for Belonging by Charles H. Vogl. It will be a major resource for discussion throughout the series as shown below. You can also listen to a YouTube at
