Gaudete Sunday
JOY!

(Victoria's grandaughter Pykea)

This coming Sunday, the third Sunday of Advent, is often referred to as “The Joyful or Rejoicing Sunday.” So our theme…joy… has already been set for us!
Joy is one of those incredible emotions, that like love, is so elusive to description…we each have our own particular take on it…a certain angle or perspective, but when shared with others ignites so much more of it, and allows us to hold a larger and more expansive place for it in our lives.

Joy is one of those feelings that is just contagious! And we know it when we feel it, or see it, but most especially when we share it!
So, let’s savor every moment of our Gaudete Sunday together! As you prepare for this Sunday, think about all those things that help you make space for it, be surprised by it, or provide a pathway for you to experience more of it in your life.

See you (on Zoom) Sunday!

Daily Reflection
May you awaken to the mystery of being here and enter the quiet immensity of your own presence. May you have joy and peace in the temple of your senses. May you receive great encouragement when new frontiers beckon. May you respond to the call of your gift and find the courage to follow its path. May the flame of anger free you from falsity. May warmth of heart keep your presence aflame and may anxiety never linger about you. May your outer dignity mirror an inner dignity of soul. May you take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek no attention. May you be consoled in the secret symmetry of your soul. May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder.
