Here's the link to the form in PDF format: Please download it, print it out and fill it in. Then mail it in or give it to a member of the Tithing Committee - Peter, Steve, Melva, Dan V. or David. Joy! Please note: We will also have printed copies at our next liturgies.
Announcement #2:

NETWORK Catholic Lobby is requesting that we get involved in working with our members of Congress to eliminate child poverty and raise up the least among us. I've started a small group of dedicated folks who will help be the voice of the poor and disenfranchised -- using Catholic Social Teaching as a basis for action. We will be directed by NETWORK's office in Washington D.C. and will build on the amazing work the nuns have done for 50 years. NETWORK provides training and all materials. Their staff is excellent and fun. - David
Webinar: Unpacking NETWORK's 2022 Voting Record HIGHEST PRIORITYVirtual Meeting
Date: Wednesday, January 18 Time: 7 – 8pm EST Location Virtual event
Join from anywhere
About this event NETWORK’s 2022 Voting Record will be released Wednesday, January 18. Join us for a webinar to learn about last year's progress, and the setbacks.
We scored Congress on thirteen (13) votes on bills related to voting rights and elections, reforming the criminal-legal system, preventing discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or race, confirming Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, and more.
Our Government Relations team will review the successes and failures of the 117th Congress. The Grassroots Mobilization team will provide ways to share the Voting Record with your Members of Congress. While Congress made steps toward equity and social justice, there is deep frustration with the incremental nature of progress on Capitol Hill. We'll have time for a Q&A. If you'd like to submit a question in advance, send it to info@networklobby.org. Can't make it? Please register to receive the webinar recording after the meeting.

The Work That Reconnects: Courage for the Healing of Our World with Della Duncan Retreat: March 10-12, 2023 Inverness, CA
Join us for a transformational group experience that builds motivation, connection, solidarity and vision, renewing the courage to act for the healing of our world. In these times of climate chaos, rampant inequality, systemic racism, and other daily catastrophes, there is tension between our desire to take urgent action and our need to process reality on a deeper level. We often experience despair, anger, fear, and burnout as we navigate this tension, and at times it feels easier to turn away and close ourselves off. Yet it is through reconnection with ourselves and others, and acknowledging the reality of these times, that we can find hope and the courage to continue.
The Work that Reconnects (WTR) is a process for transforming our despair into purposeful action, as well as a deep well of nourishment to continue. Through a series of creative and experiential exercises, the Work that Reconnects opens space for radical truth-speaking and personal and collective empowerment. Drawing on deep ecology, systems theory, and spiritual traditions, this open-source body of work is rooted in the teachings and experiential methods of Joanna Macy.
